The next meeting of Salesbury Parish Council will be held on 9 September 2024 in Salesbury Memorial Hall, Ribchester Road, Clayton le Dale in the Conference Room which is situated on the first floor. at 7.00pm
Where can I find the agenda? The agendas are posted on this website and on the two parish noticeboards - one at St Peters Church and one in Copster Green opposite the old Pendle View Nursery.
PARISH SURGERY -
Your regular opportunity to drop in and have a chat with some of your councillors. We want to hear your views, opinions, concerns and ideas. You’re also welcome to just pop in, say hello and enjoy a brew and a biscuit (or two!). We are holding this on the same day as the litter pick so that as many people as possible get the chance to come along and chat with us.
Salesbury Parish Council meet at least 4 times a year. The meetings are held in the Salesbury Memorial Hall
(top floor meeting room and start at 7.00 pm. There is a public participation session at each meeting for residents
to speak on items on the agenda each person is given 3 minutes in which to address the Council. The Annual
At the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council which takes place in May each year the Chairman, Vice Chairman are elected and representatives on outside bodies are chosen.
The Annual Meeting of Electors takes place between April and June. This meeting is hosted by the Parish Council but the meeting is for members of the electorate bring forward items for the Parish Council to discuss or decide upon at a later Parish Council meeting.
